Kang Sol A is an amazing law student and tireless humanitarian, often helping those around her and landing herself a prestigious firm job through her philanthropy. Furthermore, she’s a staunch supporter of female representation in legal practice; especially as lawyers. Her goal is to demonstrate that female lawyers can do just as good a job as men — although this puts her reputation in jeopardy when involved in cases involving corrupt politicians.
At her court testimony preparation session, Kang Sol A receives an unexpected phone call from an unrecognizable number and discovers it belongs to her sister. Kang Sol A confronts her sister and learns it belonged to Assemblyman Ko. Kang Sol A agrees with this request from her sister; Kang Sol A deletes any malicious comments against her sister from online platforms like social media.

Joon-hwi and Sol-A are working side by side at the legal clinic. She’s grateful to him for everything he’s done; however, she’s not keen on starting dating again since this would mean starting from scratch.
She overhears Joon-hwi telling Sol-B that he only helped her because it’s his responsibility, which causes her to leave quickly; Joon-hwi follows and teases her about how upset she became by this admission.
Later on, while they are preparing their mock trial, Sol-A is called into the room. She quickly realizes that the person offering to bribe her is also the same one who falsely accused her father for embezzlement; thus calling him out.
Joon-hwi is unhappy about this development and attempts to stop him, but he tells her the best way to address it is to find who did it; then she will know who should take responsibility.
The rest of this episode focuses on an investigation. Seo Ji Ho, Joon-hwi’s classmate’s son and an eldest son with an agenda who seeks to unmask a hidden truth while trying to clear his father’s name has an agenda of his own to reveal. Unfortunately, an old prosecutor that Seo worked with previously is holding him back from doing this; using their skills and connections, students work towards uncovering it all.

Professor Yang attempts to assist Ye Seul in recovering and moving forward with her life, yet she refuses to open up about it. To encourage her, Professor Yang uses his famed “Yangcrates” method of direct examination during a mock trial: this involves questioning witnesses while asking if they have any answers for each query posed to them.
Surprisingly, Assemblyman Ko can also be seen in the video that was shot by students. In it he apologizes for failing to raise his son properly while promising legislation against dating abuses and claims his opponents are engaging in political smear campaigns against him.
Kang Sol A, seeing this, approaches Professor Yang and asks him to stop supporting Assemblyman Ko and allow her sister to focus on her studies and graduate law school. Additionally, she requests him delete any videos against him or she will expose them publicly on social media. Professor Yang doesn’t appreciate her demands but tells her that they must protect their family.
